Cookie notice
This website uses technical cookies to ensure procedures work correctly and improve the experience of using online applications. This document explains cookies and similar technologies, how this website uses them and how to manage them.
Definitions
Cookies are small text files sent by websites to users' devices, where they are stored and then sent back on subsequent visits. Third-party cookies are set by websites other than the one being visited: pages may contain images, maps, sounds, links or other elements hosted on different servers.
Types of cookies
Cookies can be classified according to their characteristics and purposes.
Technical cookies. These are used solely to transmit a communication over an electronic communications network or to the extent strictly necessary to provide an information society service expressly requested by the subscriber or user (Article 122(1) of the Italian Privacy Code). They are not used for other purposes and are normally installed by the website owner or operator. They include navigation or session cookies enabling normal use of the website; analytics cookies treated as technical cookies where used directly by the operator to collect aggregate information about visitor numbers and use; and functionality cookies enabling browsing according to selected criteria to improve the service. Prior consent is not required to install these cookies, while the information obligation under Article 13 of the Code remains. A website using only these cookies may provide the notice in the manner it considers most appropriate.
Profiling cookies. These create user profiles and deliver advertising aligned with preferences shown while browsing. Because they can intrude on privacy, European and Italian legislation requires users to be appropriately informed and provide valid consent. Article 122 of the Code permits storing information on, or accessing information already stored on, a user's device only with consent after the prescribed information has been provided. This website does not use profiling cookies.
Third-party cookies
Visitors may receive cookies from websites managed by other organisations, for example social plugins for Facebook, Twitter, Google+ or LinkedIn, or embedded multimedia such as YouTube or Flickr. These elements are generated by the third-party sites and embedded in the website being visited, transmitting cookies to and from those third parties. Their own notices govern their processing. For transparency and convenience, relevant links are provided below:
- Facebook cookie notice; configuration is available in your account's privacy section.

Google Analytics
The website also includes components supplied by Google Analytics, a web traffic analysis service from Google Inc. These cookies are used only to monitor and improve website performance. See Google's information for partner sites.
You can selectively disable Google Analytics by installing Google's browser opt-out add-on.
APPetito form protection
Registration and contact forms use the technical session cookie appetito_forms to validate requests and limit automated submissions. Protection runs on APPetito's server without Google reCAPTCHA. The cookie is not used for advertising profiling.
Language preferences
The technical cookies __appSiteLang and __appAdminLang store website and platform language preferences for up to one year. They are separate from __appLang, used for customer and menu language preferences.
Cookie duration
Some session cookies remain active only until the browser closes or the user logs out. Other persistent cookies survive browser closure and are available on later visits. Their duration is set by the server when they are created; some have a fixed expiry and others an unlimited duration.
Managing cookies
You can choose whether to accept cookies in browser settings. Disabling technical cookies in whole or part may impair optimal website use. Disabling third-party cookies does not prevent browsing.
Settings can be configured separately for different websites and applications. Browsers also allow different settings for first-party and third-party cookies. For example, Firefox's Tools → Options → Privacy controls allow you to select which cookies to accept and delete them. Browser documentation is available online, including:
