Privacy information
Nature of the data and purposes of processing
Personal data provided when registering on this website will be processed in accordance with applicable personal data protection legislation, as updated by Regulation (EU) 2016/679. Data needed to provide the service include contact details (first name, surname, email, telephone number and address) and login and account information (including screen name, password and unique user ID). Users' sensitive data are not processed.
Processing of a minor's personal data is lawful only where the minor is at least 16 years old. Below that age, processing is lawful only if and to the extent that consent is given or authorised by the holder of parental responsibility. By giving this consent, the data subject declares that they are over 16 or hold parental responsibility for a child under 16.
The data controller is STUDIO 09 S.R.L., Via Borgognoni 15, 51100 Pistoia, Italy, VAT number 01710080472.
Data are processed to register on the website; respond to requests for information; perform administrative and accounting activities associated with registration and online purchases and meet legal obligations; and promote Studio 09's services through communications such as email and SMS.
Processing takes place on paper and by computer and/or electronic means, using methods closely related to these purposes and ensuring data security and confidentiality. Studio 09 stores and controls personal data using appropriate preventive security measures to minimise the risk of accidental destruction or loss, unauthorised access, and processing that is unlawful or inconsistent with the stated collection purposes.
Studio 09 disclaims responsibility where such destruction, loss or unauthorised access results from the equipment you use. Please ensure that your computer and internet provider use appropriate, up-to-date software to protect electronic data transmission, such as antivirus software, firewalls and spam filters.
Providing data and the consequences of withholding consent
Providing the data described above is not mandatory. However, because processing is necessary for registration and provision of the online service, refusing to provide the data makes registration and valid completion of a purchase impossible.
Disclosure of data
Personal data provided for the purposes described above will not be disclosed to other parties or disseminated, except that data may be made available to parties whose cooperation is strictly necessary to conclude the purchase contract: online payment transaction providers; external processors appointed by the controller, including staff or contractors needed to provide the service; and parties, including public authorities, entitled to access the data under statutory or administrative provisions. Data may also be disclosed on request to competent legal or legislative authorities in accordance with applicable law.
Data retention
User data are retained only as long as necessary to provide the services correctly, including until the user closes their account. After closure, data will not be retained longer than necessary for the purposes for which they were processed. In determining retention periods, Studio 09 considers the amount and nature of the data, processing purposes, legal obligations, the need to investigate complaints or requests, defend Studio 09's legal rights, and comply with specific accounting record retention requirements. When personal data are no longer needed, they will be securely deleted and/or destroyed.
Data subject rights
Under Article 12 of the Regulation, data subjects may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, object to processing, and request data portability in the cases provided for by the Regulation. These rights may be exercised by emailing info@appetito.cloud.
Consent may be withdrawn by emailing info@appetito.cloud. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal. Data subjects may complain to a supervisory authority where provided for by law and request transfer of their personal information in a structured electronic format to themselves or another party (data portability). For further details, see Article 12 and subsequent articles of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
Additional information
To pay by card, users provide confidential card details (number, cardholder, expiry date and security codes). These are collected by the payment provider Stripe, acting as an independent controller, without passing through Studio 09's server. Studio 09 therefore does not process these card details. They are collected in encrypted form according to PCI security requirements. The payment service uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). As the controller cannot technically control the use of card data by the payment provider, use of this website indicates consent to processing by that provider; refer to its information at Stripe.
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. Google Analytics uses cookies stored on your computer to analyse how visitors use this website. Information generated by the cookie, including your IP address, is transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the United States. Google uses it to analyse website use, compile activity reports for website operators and provide other services relating to website and internet use. Information may be transferred to third parties where required by law or where they process data for Google. You may refuse cookies using browser settings, although some website functions may then be unavailable. Since the controller cannot technically control third-party cookie installation, specific references to cookies are indicative. Use of this website indicates consent to processing by Google; refer to Google's website.
For more information about processing and our privacy policy, or to notify us of changes to your data, email info@appetito.cloud.
Cookie information
A cookie is a small file, usually made up of alphanumeric characters, downloaded to a device when a user accesses certain websites. Cookies allow websites to recognise devices, track navigation between pages and identify returning visitors. Cookies do not contain information that personally identifies users, but personal information we store may be linked to information stored in or obtained from cookies. See All About Cookies for more information.
Session and persistent cookies
Cookies may expire at the end of a browser session (between opening and closing a browser window) or remain for longer. Session cookies link users' actions during a browser session and expire when it ends. Because they are not retained for long, they may be less intrusive than persistent cookies. Persistent cookies remain on a device between sessions and remember preferences or actions relating to one or more websites.
First-party and third-party cookies
First-party cookies are set by the domain being visited. Third-party cookies are set by a different domain, for example when another company sets a cookie through a website the user visits.
We use cookies, pixels and other technologies (collectively, cookies) to recognise your browser or device, understand your interests and provide essential features and services. Purposes include recognising you when you log in, improving security, and reporting to evaluate and analyse service performance. Studio 09 cookies enable essential APPetito features.
Authorised third parties may also set cookies when you interact with Studio 09 services. These include search engines, measurement and analytics providers, social networks and advertising companies. They use cookies to deliver content, including interest-based advertising, and assess advertising effectiveness.
Examples include Facebook and Google. These parties may access their cookies, your IP address and browser configuration information. They do not receive information about your activities on Studio 09, such as searches or purchases. Their cookies do not automatically collect personally identifiable information such as your name or email through Studio 09. They use cookies to provide content, measure advertising effectiveness and show more relevant advertising. Consult their websites for details.
You can manage cookies in browser settings. Most browsers' Help functions explain how to refuse new cookies, receive notifications, disable cookies or control their expiry. If you disable all cookies, neither we nor third parties will transfer cookies to your browser, but you may need to set preferences manually on every visit and some features or services may not work.
Blocking, managing and deleting cookies
You can configure your browser to accept all cookies, reject all cookies or notify you when a cookie is set. Each browser is different; consult the manufacturer's guidance:
Blocking all cookies negatively affects the usability of many websites and prevents full use of this website's features and applications. In particular, the “add to basket” button will not add items to the basket, and registration forms will not retain user information between registration steps.
